Abstract:
Provided are: a method for treating or preventing renal disorder-related diseases such as diabetic nephropathy, said method comprising administering a therapeutically effective amount of 2-({[7-hydroxy-5-(2-phenylethyl)-[1,2,4]triazolo[1,5-a]pyridin-8-yl]carbonyl}amino)acetic acid or a pharmaceutically acceptable salt thereof to a mammal; and a novel medicinal use of the aforesaid compound such as a medicinal composition for treating or preventing renal disorder-related diseases, said medicinal composition comprising the aforesaid compound or a pharmaceutically acceptable salt thereof.
