Abstract:
A method for unlocking by means of a knob, applied to an electronic device. An operating knob is provided on the electronic device. The method comprises the following steps: (1) detecting an action of the operating knob in real time in a screen locked state; and (2) starting an unlocking program during rotation of the operating knob: calculating a rotational circumferential distance of the operating knob along the current rotational direction, determining whether the rotational circumferential distance of the operating knob reaches a preset circumferential distance, if yes, controlling the electronic device to be unlocked, and if no, indicating an unlocking failure and returning to step (1). Compared with the prior art, the present application relates to performing an unlocking operation on an electronic device by rotating a physical operating knob by a preset circumferential distance, and there is no need to perform the unlocking operation on a screen or press for a specific period of time or press multiple keys, thereby achieving simple operation and a time-saving and labor-saving effect. Also disclosed in the present application are a corresponding electronic device and a readable storage medium.
