A method for using a double-layered upward insertion-proof zipper. The double-layered upward insertion-proof zipper is provided with a zipper base (1), an upper chain (2), a lower chain (3), and a steel tape measure (4). The upper chain (2) is provided with a left upper chain (9), a right upper chain (10), a zipper head closing element (11), and a zipper tail closing element (12). The lower chain (3) is provided with a left lower chain (13) and a right lower chain (14). The steel tape measure (4) is provided with a steel tape strip (16). Corresponding teeth, insertion-proof plates, and tapes are provided on the corresponding chains. When in use, the double-layered upward insertion proof zipper is arranged on a piece of luggage, left upper insertion-proof plates (19) and right upper insertion-proof plates (22) are utilized to close the corresponding gaps between left upper teeth (18) and right upper teeth (21), left lower insertion-proof plates (25) and right lower insertion-proof plates (28) are utilized to close the corresponding gaps between left lower teeth (24) and right lower teeth (27), and the steel tape strip (16) is utilized to close the two chains, thus increasing the difficulty for a criminal to open the zipper by inserting a sharp tool.
