Abstract:
A method of using EA-IRMS to analyze particulate organic carbon and nitrogen stable isotopes in seawater. The method comprises: filtering an acquired water sample using a glass fiber filter, and then filtering 100 ml of distilled water; and acidifying a filter sample, and placing same in a machine for EA-IRMS analysis, wherein the oxygen content of an elemental analyzer is configured to 80s, the temperature of a combustion tube is configured to 700℃, and the filament current of an isotope ratio mass spectrometer is configured to 300-400 μA. The method can reduce testing costs, improve data accuracy, and improve operational efficiency.
