Abstract:
The present application provides a method for viewing information content, and a terminal, which relate to the field of communication technology, and are beneficial for simplifying an operation of a user viewing hidden information content, improving user-terminal interaction efficiency, and improving user experience. The method specifically comprises: a terminal displaying a first screen locking interface or being in a black screen state, and upon receipt of first information, the terminal displaying a second screen locking interface; the second screen locking interface displaying a first widget, the first widget prompting the content of the first information to be hidden; the terminal receiving a first operation of a user on a touch screen, the terminal acquiring user fingerprint information according to the first operation and performing verification, and after the fingerprint information has passed verification, the terminal displaying a third screen locking interface, the third screen locking interface displaying the first widget, and the first widget displaying the content of the first information.
