Abstract:
This washing method is designed for a membrane filtration device for filtering water to be treated containing at least one of iron, manganese, and ions and colloids thereof through a filtration membrane to provide treated water, and comprises: a first acid washing step of supplying sulfuric acid to the filtration membrane; and a second acid washing step of supplying an acid mixture of chloric acid and an organic acid to the filtrate membrane. The filtration membrane is a microfiltration membrane or an ultrafiltration membrane. In the process of washing the membrane filtration device for membrane-treating water to be treated containing at least one of iron, manganese, and ions and colloids thereof using the microfiltration membrane or an ultrafiltration membrane, the method for washing a membrane filtration device enables iron and manganese to be sufficiently removed from the filtration membrane.
