Abstract:

A method for welding a hollow main shaft and a solid shaft head, comprising the following steps: (1) designing a U+V-shaped groove, and reserving a gap of 2-6mm at a root portion; (2) placing a hollow main shaft onto a welding roller, heating, and then sheathing a solid shaft head into the hollow main shaft; (3) adopting segmental symmetric positioned welding to perform tack welding, and sheathing an open-type heater into the solid shaft head and a hollow main shaft connector to perform heating; (4) performing back welding by utilizing manual arc welding; (5) performing semi-automatic submerged arc welding, adopting a climbing weld position for filled welding, and adopting a down-slope weld position for cosmetic welding; and (6) locally annealing a weld region after the welding is completed, slowly cooling to the room temperature, then disassembling the heater to obtain an assembly welding part, and completing the welding. The welding method combines the semi-automatic submerged arc welding and electric arc welding of a welding rod, selects an appropriate welding material and soldering flux, adjusts welding technological parameters, and controls a welding process, thereby solving welding difficulties of a hollow steel-45 main shaft with a thick wall.
