Abstract:
Methods, apparatus and systems for configuring a discontinuous reception in a wireless communication are disclosed. In one embodiment, a method performed by a wireless communication node is disclosed. The method comprises: transmitting, at a first layer, first configuration information to a wireless communication device, wherein the first configuration information comprises at least one parameter related to a discontinuous reception (DRX) of the wireless communication device; and transmitting, at a second layer lower than the first layer, second configuration information to the wireless communication device, wherein the second configuration information comprises an update to at least part of the first configuration information.
