Abstract:
The present disclosure relates to methods and apparatus for frame processing. The apparatus can detect a scrolling velocity of a scrolling process associated with one or more layers in a first frame of a plurality of frames in a display, the first frame associated with a first vertical synchronization (Vsync) time. The apparatus can also determine a second Vsync time associated with a second frame of the plurality of frames in the display, the second Vsync time occurring after the first Vsync time. Also, the apparatus can calculate a position of the second frame based on the second Vsync time and the scrolling velocity. The apparatus can also render the second frame based on the position of the second frame. The apparatus can also determine whether a fling animation portion of the scrolling process has started, the fling animation portion corresponding to a user not contacting the display.
