Abstract:
Embodiments of the present application relate to methods and apparatuses for sidelink transmission. According to an embodiment of the present application, a method performed by a first user equipment (UE) may include: receiving a sidelink resource reservation indication indicating a second set of resources for a second sidelink transmission of a second UE, wherein the second set of resources at least partially overlaps a first set of resources for a first sidelink transmission of the first UE; receiving a UE type indication indicating that the second UE is a UE performing random resource selection or a power-saving UE; receiving a priority indication indicating a second transmission priority of the second sidelink transmission, wherein the second transmission priority is lower than or equal to a first transmission priority of the first sidelink transmission; and determining whether to perform a sidelink transmission avoidance based on first configuration information. Embodiments of the present application can protect a transmission of a power-saving UE as well as ensure transmission opportunities of other UEs.
