Abstract:

Provided in an embodiment of the present invention are methods and devices for video encoding and decoding, and an electronic apparatus. The method comprises: determining, according to a preset decision-making scheme, whether to activate a preset distortion-correction filtering function; if the distortion-correction filtering function is determined to be activated, acquiring a distorted image; generating a side information component corresponding to the distorted image; inputting, to a pre-established CNN model, a color component of the distorted image and the side information component to undergo convolutional filtering processing to obtain a color component of a distortion-corrected image; and performing entropy encoding on data to be entropy-encoded to obtain an encoded video bit stream, the data to be entropy-encoded being generated by performing video encoding on a current original image and comprising decision-making information and side information for generation of the side information component, and the decision-making information indicating whether the preset distortion-correction filtering function is to be to activated or not. The solution realizes use of a CNN model to perform distortion correction processing on a distorted image in a video encoding process, and attains a balance between encoding performance and algorithm complexity.
