Abstract:
The invention discloses a method for preparing dehydrocavidine (fig.1), dehydroapocavidine or compositions containing dehydrocavidine and dehydroapocavidine, comprising the steps of isolating and purifying the quaternary ammonium components from the raw material of Corydalis saxicola Bounting undergoing the processes of solvent extraction, water-phase organic extraction, crystallization and recrystallization, and then dried to obtain the said compositions. If necessary, the said composition or the crude extract of the forementioned steps is subjected to chromatography to obtain dehydrocavidine or dehydroapocavidine. Dehydrocavidine, dehydroapocavidine or compositions containing dehydrocavidine and dehydroapocavidine can be used in manufacturing medicines for treating the viral hepatitis, hepatic injury, influenza, AIDS, tumor or arrhythmia.
