Abstract:
The present invention provides methods for correcting errors which occur in the digital assay of nucleic acids using molecular bar codes. More specifically, provided are: a method for identifying mispairing of molecular bar codes and index sequences in accordance with the detection frequency; a method for identifying molecular bar codes having base substitutions which have been categorized into the same cluster; and a method for identifying molecular bar codes having insertions or deletions using molecular bar codes including fixed bases and random bases.
