Systems, devices, and methods including at least one electric motor, including: a stator, including: a stator housing; a stator lamination stack; and a plurality of spacers; where at least one of the plurality of spacers may be placed between the stator lamination stack and the stator housing; and where the at least one of the plurality of spacers may provide a bond gap between the at least one stator lamination stack and the stator housing and prevent electrical shorting.
