Abstract:
Provided herein is a method of treating kidney injury associated with trauma or infection, such as In sepsis-associated acute kidney injury. Specifically, the disclosure provides a method of treating kidney injury associated with trauma or infection in a patient comprising administering to the patient an amount of a histone deacetylase inhibitor (HDI) effective to treat kidney injury associated with trauma or infection in a patient. Further disclosed are HDIs used for the method.
