Abstract:
The present invention addresses the problem of providing, in a method for obtaining a mixed gas including methyl fluoride and acid fluoride by thermally decomposing a starting compound in a gas state, a method for more easily separating methyl fluoride and acid fluoride contained in said mixed gas. As a means for solving said problem, the present invention provides a method for manufacturing methyl fluoride, said method comprising: (1) a step for obtaining a mixed gas including methyl fluoride and acid fluoride by thermally decomposing a starting compound in a gas state; and (2) a step for obtaining methyl fluoride by rectifying the mixed gas obtained at step (1).
