Abstract:
The present invention relates to a methyl formate continuous preparation method and, specifically, to a methyl formate continuous preparation method enabling an eco-friendly methyl formate to be prepared by causing a reaction with a CO2-derived carbonic acid instead of a strong acid, which generates wastewater, when reducing a metal formate, which is a raw material, thereby selectively separating methyl formate from methanol through distillation by using the characteristic of methyl formate of having a boiling point lower than that of methanol, which is a solvent, and thus unreacted metal formate, which is dissolved in remaining methanol, is resupplied as a reactant without precipitating.
