Abstract:
This micro flow channel comprises, in a sample flow channel through which a sample flow including a measurement sample flows: a height-direction flow streamlining unit having a high ceiling part in which the ceiling height in the flow channel is higher than the ceiling height in the flow channel upstream thereof and a low ceiling part which is disposed downstream of the high ceiling part and in which the ceiling height in the flow channel is lower than the ceiling height in the high ceiling part; and a width-direction flow streamlining unit which is disposed downstream of the height-direction flow streamlining unit, in which the ceiling height in the flow channel is higher than the ceiling height in the low ceiling part, and which has a first sheath liquid flow-in part into which a first sheath liquid flows from both lateral surface directions of the flow channel.
