Abstract:
Provided is a micro-mixer used for mixing a highly viscous fluid or gas/liquid two-phase fluid; droplets or bubbles are formed by means of an array of triangular micro-pores arranged symmetrically on the two sides of an internal mixing passageway (2), the droplets and bubbles are then further broken up by using a plate fluid splitting passageway (3) arranged downstream of the mixing passageway (2), thus achieving efficient liquid–liquid or gas–liquid mixing. For the features of highly viscous fluid flow resistance, the micro-mixer optimizes the fluid mechanics layout by means of regularizing the microstructure, reducing pressure drop in a mixing device, and is suitable for use in a mixing system having a viscosity of <500 mPa·s.
