Title:
MICROBIAL FUEL CELL CONNECTED IN SERIES WITHIN SHARED ELECTROLYTE, AND METHOD FOR CONNECTING SAME IN SERIES
Document Type and Number:
WIPO Patent Application WO/2018/194299
Kind Code:
A1
Abstract:
The present invention relates to a microbial fuel cell connected in series within a shared electrolyte, and a method for connecting the same in series. More specifically, provided is a microbial fuel cell connected in series, comprising a positive charge electrode part, thereby being capable of inhibiting a shorting phenomenon caused by hydrogen ions to be generated by the chemical reaction of the microbial fuel cell. Therefore, the microbial fuel cell of the present invention can reduce energy loss during a serial connection by inhibiting the shorting phenomenon, thereby enabling energy production to increase.
