Abstract:
[Problem] To provide a microbubble generation method and a microbubble generation device that can efficiently generate nano-order diameter microbubbles in a liquid. [Solution] The invention comprises a liquid storage tank 10, a liquid delivery unit 20 that sucks in and delivers liquid stored in the liquid storage tank 10, a gas discharge unit 30 that discharges gas into the liquid being delivered by the liquid delivery unit 20, and a liquid storage tank 40 that stores liquid into which gas has been discharged by the gas discharge unit 30. The gas discharge unit 30 has a gas discharge member 32 wherein a plurality of gas discharge holes with hole diameters (mode diameter) of 1.5 μm or less are opened in a gas discharge face, and a base member on which a groove is formed on the contact face with the gas discharge face of the gas discharge member 32. The liquid delivery unit 20 causes liquid to move along the gas discharge face of the gas discharge member 32 by draining liquid into a channel FC enclosed by the groove of the base member 31 and the gas discharge face of the gas discharge member 32 so that the relative speed with respect to the gas discharge member 32 is 1 m/sec or greater.
