Abstract:
A mid-drive electric motor for an electric power-assisted bicycle, relating to the field of mid-drive electric motors. The mid-drive electric motor comprises a box body (1), a central shaft (2), an electric motor (3), an output shaft (4) and a harmonic reducer (5), wherein the central shaft (2), the electric motor (3) and the harmonic reducer (5) are fixed in the box body (1), an input end of the central shaft (2) is used for connecting a pedal of a bicycle, and an output end of the central shaft (2) is connected to the output shaft (4); a torque sensor (6) is arranged on the central shaft (2), one end of the torque sensor (6) is connected to the central shaft (2), and the other end of the torque sensor (6) is connected to the output shaft (4); and the electric motor (3) comprises a stator (31) and a rotor (32), the stator (31) being sleeved on an outer side of the rotor (32), the rotor (32) being located on the periphery of the central shaft (2), an input end of the harmonic reducer (5) being connected to the rotor (32), and an output end of the harmonic reducer (5) being connected to the output shaft (4). By means of the provision of the torque sensor (6), whether the electric motor (3) participates can be more flexibly controlled, and a power assistance effect can be provided only under the condition that a driving force is insufficient, such that the power assistance effect is more suitable for usage requirements of a user.
