Abstract:
According to various embodiments, an electronic device may comprise a housing, an antenna array, and at least one wireless communication circuit. The antenna array is arranged inside the housing and comprises multiple antenna elements arranged in a pattern. At least one of the antenna elements comprise a conductive plate which is substantially flat, and which has a partially elliptical shape. The conductive plate comprises: a peripheral portion which has a partially elliptical shape, and which comprises a first end and a second end; a partial long shaft; a short shaft positioned perpendicularly to the long shaft; and a straight peripheral portion which forms a non-zero angle with the partial long shaft, which contacts or crosses the partial long shaft, and which connects the first end and the second end. The wireless communication circuit is electrically connected to the antenna elements. The wireless communication circuit feeds electricity to the straight peripheral portion or at a location adjacent thereto so as to transmit a first signal having a first frequency. The wireless communication circuit feeds electricity to a part of the peripheral portion having a partially elliptical shape at the short shaft or at a location adjacent thereto so as to transmit a second signal comprising a second frequency larger than the first frequency. Various other embodiments are possible.
