Abstract:

The present invention provides a millimeter-wave radar cover which makes it possible to effectively use electromagnetic waves (millimeter waves) of a millimeter-wave radar, and sufficiently suppress radiation of unnecessary electromagnetic waves. A millimeter-wave radar cover (1) houses a millimeter-wave radar provided with an antenna (30) and an electronic circuit (40) for driving the antenna (30), and is provided with: a first part (A) that protects the millimeter-wave radar and is provided in front of the millimeter-wave radar in order to transmit millimeter waves oscillated from the antenna (30); and a second part (B) that has a housing space for housing the antenna (30) and the electronic circuit (40) except for the first part (A). The first part comprises a laminated structure (10) formed by laminating, in at least one or more layers, a first component (11) having a negative relative permittivity in a millimeter-wave frequency band, and a second component (12) having a positive relative permittivity in the millimeter-wave frequency band, and the laminated structure (10) is curved, with an oscillation source of millimeter-wave electromagnetic waves as the center, so as to protrude in a direction away from the oscillation source.
