Abstract:
Provided is a mineral dressing method that can efficiently separate copper minerals and molybdenum minerals. The present invention is a mineral dressing method for mineral powder at least containing a copper mineral and a molybdenum mineral, and comprises a dispersion step for dispersing the mineral powder by stirring a mineral slurry containing the mineral powder, an oxidization step for adding a hydrogen peroxide solution to the mineral slurry and maintaining the mixture for a predetermined time period, and a floatation dressing step for dressing minerals by flotation using the mineral slurry. Dispersing the mineral powder by stirring the mineral slurry makes it easy for the surface of mineral particles to be in contact with an oxidizing agent, and increases the efficiency of the oxidization treatment.
