Abstract:
A mining elevator traction cable connecting apparatus and a measuring method therefor, for use in a mining elevator serving a deep-mine. The apparatus comprises an industrial personal computer (IPC) (6), a signal collector (5) connected to the IPC (6), a plurality of symmetrically arranged cable rings (1) for use in connecting to one end of a traction cable, and a traction cable tension adjusting apparatus (2) connected to the plurality of cable rings. Arranged within the traction cable tension adjusting apparatus (2) are a plurality of hydraulic cylinders, and a plurality of draw wire displacement sensors (4) for use in monitoring the relative displacement between each hydraulic cylinder plunger (2-12) and a corresponding hydraulic cylinder body (2-15). The draw wire displacement sensors (4) and an oil pressure sensor (3) connected to a hydraulic pipeline (2-17) are connected to the IPC (6) via the signal collector (5), forming a traction cable tension and degree of adjustment measuring system. In the measuring method, the oil pressure sensor (3) and the draw wire displacement sensors (4) are used for a real-time monitoring respectively of the hydraulic oil pressure within each hydraulic cylinder body (2-15) and of the relative displacement between each hydraulic cylinder plunger (2-12) and the corresponding hydraulic cylinder body (2-15), thereby allowing for real-time measurement of the tension and the degree of adjustment of the traction cable. The apparatus allows for an automatic balancing of the tension of the traction cable. The apparatus is structurally simple, convenient to operate, reliable in performance, and easy to install and to maintain. The measuring method allows for the automatic monitoring of the tension of the traction cable, the display of the distance of adjustment, and the issuance of an alarm when the maximum range of adjustment has been met.
