The present disclosure relates to a mixed flow fan and a duct type air conditioner. The mixed flow fan comprises: a volute, an air outlet being provided in the volute; and a flow guide cone, the flow guide cone being provided at the air outlet, and airflow of the air outlet flowing through the flow guide cone. A generatrix of the flow guide cone comprises a straight line section and a curve section which are connected. According to the mixed flow fan and the duct type air conditioner provided by the present disclosure, the generatrix of the flow guide cone is set as the straight line section and the curve section. On the premise of ensuring a flow guide effect, the curve section is used to guide the airflow generating a wall attachment effect, so that the airflow is prevented from generating a vortex at the air outlet to affect an air outlet effect of the mixed flow fan; and meanwhile, the straight line section is tangent to an inner housing to avoid the situation that a step structure is generated at the joint of the straight line section and the inner housing to affect the flow of the airflow, thereby further ensuring the air outlet effect of the mixed flow fan.
