Abstract:
A mixed fuel supply system is configured by adding, to the configuration of a light oil supply system (8) of the prior art, a DME tank (a liquefied gas fuel storage tank) (14) that stores DME, and a DME supply path (a liquefied gas fuel supply path) (15) that supplies DME. The DME supply path (15) is connected to a transport passage (7) which is between a feed pump (4) and a fuel injection pump (6a). The DME supply path (15) is equipped with a flow volume adjustment valve (16), the supply amount (QDME) of the DME is adjusted to a weight ratio of approximately 10% of the total supply amount (Qfuel) of a mixed fuel by means of the flow volume adjustment valve (16), and the mixed fuel which mixes together in the transport passage (7) is transported to the fuel injection pump (6a) and is injected from injectors (5). Therefore, a mixed fuel of a liquid fuel and a liquefied gas fuel can be used as is and can be supplied to an internal combustion engine, without significantly changing the fuel supply system and the fuel injection system for the liquid fuel.
