Abstract:
A digital and analog mixed signal control circuit for canceling degenerate metastable state of a self-biased bandgap reference circuit. One low power consumption digital-analog converter module of which the precision is flexibly customizable as required, one delay switch, and a nonvolatile storage unit are utilized to directly control and clamp a circuit node found in a degenerate metastable state in a bandgap reference circuit module, and a clamping control mechanism is released after a certain delay. This effectively inhibits the self-biased bandgap reference circuit having an operational amplifier from going into a degenerate metastable state, thus enhancing the robustness of the circuit, allowing the reference circuit to start normally under various circumstances, and increasing the performance and yield of a product.
