Title:
MIXING TIP COUPLING STRUCTURE FOR IMPRESSION-MATERIAL CARTRIDGES
Document Type and Number:
WIPO Patent Application WO/2011/074737
Kind Code:
A1
Abstract:
The present invention relates to a mixing tip coupling structure for impression-material cartridges, and more specifically relates to a structure for the coupling of an impression-material cartridge which is formed with an upper coupling plate in the middle of the upper parts of a pair of cylinders and is provided with mutually facing mixing-tip-coupling end parts on either side of the upper coupling plate, and a mixing tip which is formed with a projecting mixing tube having a mixing screw inserted in the middle of the upper part and is formed with projecting coupling flanges on either side of the lower end part; it being a mixing-tip coupling structure for impression-material cartridges wherein the side surfaces of the very end parts of the coupling flanges, which are formed on either side of the lower end part of the mixing tip, are respectively formed with diagonally symmetrical rotationally-engaging protrusions, the lower surfaces of the rotationally-engaging protrusions are respectively formed with downwardly projecting semi-cylindrical guide pins for guiding the direction of coupling of the mixing tip, and, formed on the surfaces on either side of the upper part of the upper coupling plate of the impression-material cartridge, there is a projecting guide plate which is for coupling with the mixing tip and which is respectively formed with diagonally symmetrical guide-pin-insertion linear parts, guide-pin-guiding curved parts and guide-pin-coupling recesses. Consequently, not only can convenience of use be substantially improved because the mixing tip can be coupled in an easy and straightforward fashion to the impression-material cartridge regardless of the coupling direction, but also leakage of the impression material due to loosening of the mixing tip during use can be completely prevented because a secure and stable state of coupling can be maintained.
