Abstract:
Use of herbaceous plant wastes as a main material of a mixture for flexible pavement, comprising mixing the herbaceous plant wastes with a binder usable at ordinary temperature; a mixture for flexible pavement usable at ordinary temperature comprising herbaceous plant wastes as a main material and a binder usable at ordinary temperature; and a flexible pavement body having a layer formed using the mixture for flexible pavement usable at ordinary temperature as the whole or a part of the surface layer thereof. According to the invention, a flexible pavement body having a moderate water permeability can be produced with a low cost, and at the same time, herbaceous plant wastes such as chaffs of grains, which are generally discharged in a large amount, can be utilized effectively.
