Abstract:
In a mobile communication terminal compatible with a code division multiple access
connection, if it is judged that judgment of synchronization between a local
spread code and a reception spread code requires a plenty of time, the communication is
disconnected in a short time so as to reduce the power consumption. When an RLF
judgment control unit (16) judges that a common channel level "a" is
not smaller than a third threshold value (common channel level threshold value), SIR
data "d" is compared to a first threshold value and a second threshold value
so as to judge synchronous state/asynchronous state between the local spread
code and the reception spread code and output a judgment signal "e". Especially
when the common channel level "a" is judged to be lower than the third
threshold value, the first threshold value and the second threshold value are
set to the same value. In this state, if the level of the SIR data "d" is
judged to be smaller than the first threshold value (= the second threshold value),
a judgment signal "e" corresponding to the asynchronous state is
immediately outputted after a predetermined delay time has elapsed. This reduces
the power consumption.
