Abstract:
Disclosed are a mobile device management method and device, wherein same relate to the field of electronic devices, and solve the problem of it not being possible to realize the management and control of an electronic device that is inconvenient to connect to the Internet and to realize device system upgrading thereof. The mobile device management method comprises: a first electronic device sending, to a first server, a request message comprising an identifier of at least one second electronic device, wherein the request message is used for applying for the deployment of an MDM service, and the MDM service is used for the management and control of the second electronic device and device system upgrading thereof; the first electronic device receiving and installing a DM service application from the first server, wherein after the DM service application is installed, the first electronic device can provide the MDM service; the first electronic device and the second electronic device establishing a wireless P2P connection therebetween, or the first electronic device and the second electronic device accessing the same local area network; and the first electronic device providing the MDM service for the second electronic device, so as to realize the management and control of the second electronic device and device system upgrading thereof.
