Abstract:
A mobile meter reading method based on a WiSUN protocol. A hand-held meter reading device is used to read electric meters in a network, and both the hand-held meter reading device and the electric meters have a WiSUN communication module. The meter reading method comprises the following steps: the hand-held meter reading device searches for electric meters within its own signal coverage, obtains communication addresses of the found electric meters and saves the communication addresses; the hand-held meter reading device establishes a point-to-point communication connection with an electric meter to be read; the hand-held meter reading device and the electric meter perform data interaction in a point-to-point communication manner to implement meter reading; and after the meter reading is completed, the hand-held meter reading device interrupts the point-to-point communication connection with the read electric meter, and continues to read the next electric meter until all the electric meters are read, and the meter reading ends. The present invention acquires, by fast searching for electric meters, related information of electric meters deployed within the signal coverage of a hand-held meter reading device, and then establishes a point-to-point communication connection with each electric meter to perform meter reading in a communication manner; and network construction is not required, improving meter reading efficiency.
