Abstract:

A method for setting radio channel of a mobile radio base station movably installed at an arbitrary place and used so as to provide a local short-term service at a home or in a specific objective facility. A mobile radio base station is provided with, in addition to a radio resource control function, an IP communication interface and movably installed. Over an operator network connected to an IP communication network, a plug-and-ply server for managing a public use radio base station and a mobile radio base station of a portable telephone network is provided. The mobile radio base station reports position information on a neighboring radio base station to the plug-and-play server in response to power-on or reset operation. The plug-and-play server inquires the radio channel set states from the neighboring radio base station identified on the basis of the reported position information, acquires the radio channel set states, and sets the radio channel of the mobile radio base station which has reported the position information on the basis of the radio channel set state of the neighboring mobile radio base station out of the acquired radio channel set states.
