Abstract:
The present invention relates to a mobile robot, a control method, a program, and a switch module that allow highly accurate detection of the location of contact of an external object. A mobile robot according to one aspect of the present invention includes a plurality of switch modules arranged on the back side of an exterior panel that is attached to an enclosure, the plurality of switch modules turning on when the external panel is pressed. The mobile robot determines the location on the exterior panel touched by an external object on the basis of the pattern of the switch modules that are turned on, and controls an operation in accordance with the location touched by the external object. The present invention can be applied to information processing devices which control autonomously moving robots.
