Abstract:
A robot is disclosed. The robot comprises: a memory for storing map information; at least one sensor; a driving unit for moving the robot to a destination on a driving path including a first area that is a stopover in the driving path, on the basis of the map information; and one or more processors that identify a plurality of second areas in the first area, identify priority information corresponding to each of the plurality of second areas, identify the location of one or more objects in the first area on the basis of sensing data obtained through the at least one sensor, update the priority information corresponding to each of the plurality of second areas on the basis of at least one of the identified location of the one or more objects or an estimated departure time for a next stopover in the driving path, and control the driving unit to move on the basis of the updated priority information.
