Abstract:
A mobile robot according to one aspect of the present invention may comprise: a body forming the external shape; a travel unit for moving the body with respect to a travel surface of a travel area; and a control unit which divides a grid map corresponding to the travel area into multiple maps composed of spaced lines, generates individual pattern paths by using each of the multiple maps, generates a final pattern path by integrating the individual pattern paths generated from the multiple maps, and controls to pattern travel the travel area on the basis of the final pattern path.
