Description:
Mobile shower

The object of the invention is a closed water circuit mobile shower. There already are known solutions for a mobile shower.

Patent description EP 2718631 discloses one solution of an electric shower. An electric shower, which comprises a shower head, to which water is supplied in a single pass through a heater and a heat exchanger in the form of a drip plate at the base of the shower cubicle, characteristic in that cold water is supplied to the heat exchanger through a safety valve, and the pump is located between the heat exchanger and the shower head (2.6), the heat exchanger comprising spaced upper and lower plates between which the cold water flows, while the water from the shower head flows through the upper plate which serves as a single exposed heat exchanging surface, the arrangement being such that all the supplied water flows through the heat exchanger and is directed along the same route from the supply point to the final drain outlet.

Patent application P.343303 describes a sanitary device. The object of the invention is a sanitary device with a bathtub set on legs, a supporting bathtub cover, fittings for water inlet, overflow and outlet, a shower handset fixed on the edge of the bathtub and a mixer fitting, the mixer fitting having input connections for cold and hot water and the output connections of the mixer fitting being connected to the water inlet of the mixer fitting and the shower handset. The mixer fitting is located inside the space enclosed by the supporting bathtub cover and provided with electrically actuated adjusters with an associated electronic control system, actuated by an entry/exit device fixed on the edge of the bathtub.

Patent description DE 10337811 discloses a mobile shower unit for human or veterinary hygiene purposes consisting of a single or multi-chamber liquid container attached to a pump assembly and shower conduits connected to the pump assembly directly or indirectly by means of a connector.

Patent application DE19909900 describes a mobile solar heated shower, which consists of a water tank on which a solar collector is mounted. This heats the tank using solar energy and convection. The tank can be insulated and can contain a heat exchanger. The technical problem solved by the present invention is the creation of a mobile shower with limited water supply requirements and the ability to heat water using mobile power sources.

The invention solves this problem by using a closed-circuit water feed system with filtration and heating the water with air heating systems.

The closed water circuit mobile shower according to the invention is characteristic in that it consists of:

- a cold water tank connected via a pump to the water heating tank and the thermostatic tap in the shower,

- a water heating tank connected with a tap located in the shower tray and with a cold water tank, with the said water heating tank having an internal coil connected in a circuit with the thermostatic tap in the shower and the shower tray via an outlet,

- a shower tray with an outlet connected by means of a pump and a filter system to a water heating tank and with a pad insulating the bottom of the shower tray,

- a water heating tank containing a heating system in the form of an electric heater.

Alternatively, the heating system in the water heating tank operates based on heated air from the vehicle's parking heater.

Favourably, the filter system includes a screen pre-filter, a carbon filter and a UV filter.

The diagram of the solution is shown in the drawing where fig 1 shows the layout of the shower elements.

The closed water circuit mobile shower consists of a cold water tank 1 connected via a pump 2 to a water heating tank 3 and a thermostatic tap 4 in the shower. The water heating tank 3 is connected by one circuit to the thermostatic tap from which the water is supplied to the shower handset in the shower and to the tap 5 located in the shower tray 6. The shower tray has an outlet connected by means of the pump 8 and a filter system 9 to the water heating tank 3. The filter system includes a pre-filter with a screen, a carbon filter and a UV filter. The bottom of the shower tray is lined with a pad insulating the user from the bottom of the shower tray. The water heating tank contains a heating system in the form of an electric heater. In solutions where the shower is built into the vehicle or is to be used next to the vehicle, the heating system can operate using heated air from the vehicle's parking heater (e.g. Webasto). The operating principle of the shower is as follows:

The user enters the shower, presses the button of the automatic tap in the shower tray to partially fill the shower tray with hot water (directly from the hot water tank shell, the water has a temperature of approx. 65 °C. The water is poured into the shower tray so that the user does not come into contact with it. (the shower tray is lined with an insulating pad which insulates the user from the bottom of the shower tray). The boiler is automatically topped up with usable cold water to its maximum level (approx. 10 litres) thanks to the usable cold water pump . The flow of the thermostatic tap is then opened to start the shower. Water comes out of the handset immediately as the system remains constantly filled. After a short while, the water starts running hot (the temperature is set using the thermostatic tap setting), because hot water is supplied to the tap from the coil located in the tank . Cold water is also supplied to the thermostatic tap from the tank, so that the water, when properly mixed in the thermostatic tap, will always be at the temperature not exceeding the temperature set by the user - usually around 38 The water accumulated at the bottom of the shower tray, flowing from the handset, is sucked by the circulating water pump and flows through a set of filters into the boiler coil, where its temperature is raised, then goes to the thermostatic tap, from where, after possible addition of cold water, it is fed to the shower handset. During tests of a 20-minute shower, only about 5 litres of water was used. The water constantly circulates through the system, is filtered by a filter unit and its temperature is maintained by flowing through the coils of the heated boiler. The filter system is replaceable, making it easy to clean and select filters according to the conditions.

There are two water heating circuits operating in the water heating tank; the first one where water is fed from the cold water tank and, once heated, is fed to the tap in the shower tray; the second circuit inside the coil where water flows from the shower tray to the thermostatic tap.

The solution can be installed in the shower in a vehicle or as a separate mobile shower, e.g. used next to the vehicle/ tent, requiring only filling the cold water tank, supplying electricity to the heater and pumps and possibly a UV filter.

The example of the given embodiment does not exhaust the possibilities of the solution.
