Abstract:
A mobile station apparatus able to easily perform a handoff routine when in a carrier aggregation state where a plurality of frequency bands are being received. The mobile station apparatus is provided with a plurality of reception branches for performing reception processing for each frequency band, and a received signal processing control unit (10) for controlling the switching of the reception branch in operation to the reception branch that corresponds to the frequency band of the handoff destination indicated in the handoff direction message received from the base station apparatus and indicating handoff initiation. The mobile station apparatus halts the reception branch that corresponds to the frequency band of the handoff source indicated in the handoff direction message and runs the reception branch that corresponds to the frequency band of the handoff destination indicated in the handoff direction message, thereby performing handoff.
