Abstract:
Provided are a mobile station apparatus, a wireless communication system and a wireless communication method wherein the handover can be efficiently and quickly accomplished, while the handover reliability can be improved. A mobile station apparatus (100), which is to switch, by means of a handover, between base station apparatuses (200a, 200b) to communicate with, receives a handover command message, which includes the information of scheduled uplink transmission, from the base station apparatus (200a) that is a handover source, and performs, based on the information of scheduled uplink transmission, uplink transmission to the base station apparatus (200b) that is a handover destination. If the mobile station apparatus (100) receives no responses to one or more uplink transmissions from the base station apparatus (200b) that is the handover destination, then a handover using a random access procedure is executed.
