Abstract:
The present invention relates to a mobile terminal capable of communicating with an external device, and a control method therefor. According to the present invention, the mobile terminal comprises: a display unit for outputting visual information; a sensing unit for sensing a preset damaged state for the display unit; and a control unit for setting a preset communication interface so as to enable communication with the external device, on the basis of the sensing of the preset damaged state .
