Abstract:
Disclosed are a mobile terminal and a power supply management method therefor. The method comprises the steps of: dividing the electric quantity of a power supply into a plurality of grades according to the level of power consumption of each communication module and functional module in a mobile terminal; setting an electric threshold corresponding to each grade respectively; and judging whether the electric quantity of the power supply of the mobile terminal is lower than any one of the electric thresholds above, and if yes, shutting down the corresponding communication module or functional module according to the priority. The mobile terminal comprises a CPU, a plurality of communication modules and functional modules connected to the CPU respectively, a power supply module, a power supply detection module, and a multi-stage power supply management module for dividing the plurality of communication modules and functional modules into a plurality of grades and setting an electric threshold corresponding to each grade.Since the mobile terminal and the power supply management method therefor of the present invention divide the electric quantity of a power supply into a plurality of grades according to the level of power consumption of the communication modules or functional modules, and perform electric threshold comparison and shutting down at different grades, effective utilization of the quantity of electricity of a battery can be realized.
