Abstract:

A mobile unit detecting device includes a wave transmitter, a wave receiver, a wave detection unit, a binary conversion unit and a decision unit. The wave transmitter issues an energy wave having a first frequency to a detection region. In response to an energy wave coming from the detection region, the wave receiver issues an electric signal corresponding to the incoming energy wave. The wave detection unit achieves a detection signal from both a reference signal having a first frequency and that electric signal. The binary conversion unit compares the detection signal with a conversion threshold signal to achieve a binary signal. On the basis of this binary signal, the judgement unit judges whether or not a mobile unit approaching or leaving the wave receiver exists in the detection region.
