Abstract:
Disclosed in the embodiments of the present application are a mobility configuration method and apparatus. The method comprises: sending an update message or a cancellation message to a second network device, wherein the update message is used for updating a mobility configuration of a terminal device, and the cancellation message is used for cancelling a mobility operation, which corresponds to a first network device, in the terminal device. In this way, a network device can cancel a mobility operation of a terminal device or update a mobility configuration of the terminal device by means of information interaction between nodes, and the mobility configuration can be updated in a timely manner or the improper mobility operation can be canceled in a timely manner, thereby effectively improving the reliability of the mobility, improving the communication efficiency of a system, and reducing a waste of resources.
