Abstract:
A model (100) for demonstrating the cyclic motion of a carried spherical object. The model comprises a bracket assembly (1), and a plurality of sets of fixed support members (2), a first guide rod (3), a second guide rod (4), a pushing member combination (5) and a cam mechanism (6) which are mounted on the bracket assembly (1), wherein the plurality of sets of fixed support members (2) are fixedly mounted on a demonstrating board (12); the first guide rod (3) is arranged above the fixed support members (2); the second guide rod (4) is arranged on one side of the fixed support members (2); the pushing member combination (5) is vertically movably mounted on the demonstrating board (12); and the cam mechanism (6) is rotatably mounted on the demonstrating board (12) by means of an eccentric shaft (60) for pushing the pushing member combination (5) to move vertically. The demonstrating model (100) has a stable support structure, visually presents the principle of using an eccentric mechanism, a cam mechanism and the self-weight of a sphere to achieve cyclic motion of the sphere, and facilitates understanding of and learning related physical knowledge.
