Abstract:
A model rendering method and device. Said method comprises: tracing an edge of an initial model according to a viewing direction and a normal map of the initial model to obtain a traced model, wherein the viewing direction is a direction in which a virtual camera views the initial model; rendering an ink texture to the middle part of the initial model according to a background color of the initial model and transparency in the texture map to obtain a rendered model; superposing the traced model and the rendered model to obtain an intermediate model; and mixing pixels, the transparency of which is less than a preset threshold, on the edge of the intermediate model with the color of the middle part of the intermediate model to obtain a target model. Said method solves the technical problem of poor quality of an image obtained by rendering a model in an ink style.
