Abstract:
A moderator temperature coefficient measuring device comprises an acquiring section
for acquiring plant data including a coolant temperature signal which represents
time-series data on the temperature of the coolant of a light-water reactor and
a neutron flux signal which represents time-series detected values of neutron
flux generated from the light-water reactor, a singular value decomposing section
for decomposing the coolant temperature signal into N components T'1(t)
to T'N(t) by the singular value decomposition method and decomposing
the neutron flux signal into M components ρ'1(t) to
ρ'M(t) by the singular value decomposition method, a
combining section for making a selected component combination of T'i(t) selected
from the N components T'1(t) to T'N(t) and
ρ'j(t) selected from the M components ρ'1(t) to
ρ'M(t), and temperature coefficient calculating section
for calculating the moderator temperature coefficient by using auto- and cross-power
spectrum density function obtained by Fourier transform of the selected component
combination. With such a structure, the moderator temperature coefficient
can be detected with high sensitivity without varying the plant state.
