Abstract:
A modified conjugated diene polymer that satisfies conditions (I)-(IV) below. (I) There are at least two peaks in the molecular weight distribution curve obtained by gel permeation chromatography (GPC) measurement. (II) The peak molecular weight of peak (B) is 500,000-2,500,000 and the peak molecular weight of peak (T) is 150,000-600,000, where peak (B) is the peak of the highest molecular weight in the abovementioned molecular weight distribution curve and peak (T) is the peak having the greatest peak area excluding peak (B). (III) The area of peak (T) is 30-80%, and the total of the area of peak (B) and the area of peak (T) is 65% or higher, where the total area in the abovementioned molecular weight distribution curve is 100%. (IV) In the abovementioned molecular weight distribution curve, the ratio of modified polymer chain included from the low-molecular-weight side to the point where the area becomes 5% is 60-99%.
