Abstract:

A modified conjugated diene polymer which is configured such that: the ratio of a coupling polymer as determined by gel permeation chromatography (GPC) is 70% by mass or more of the whole modified conjugated diene polymer; the modification rate as determined by adsorption GPC is 70% by mass or more of the whole modified conjugated diene polymer; if ML is the Mooney viscosity ML1+4 (100°C) as measured at 100°C and Mw is the weight average molecular weight as determined by GPC, ML and Mw satisfy ML ≤ 1.8(Mw × 10-4) - 31.5; and the Mooney viscosity ML1+4 (100°C) as measured at 100°C is 30-150.
